International

When I moved to the Netherlands after having lived in Boston my whole life, it was frustrating not having access to certain products that I relied on for better health. Thanks to the following international companies, I have been able to continue enjoying my favorite foods that are delivered directly to my door here in Holland!

1. MyUS

myUS.com

MyUS is an international shipping company based in Sarasota, Florida that ships all your favorite USA products directly to your door, anywhere in the world. The way MyUS works is that you get a US address (this will be a suite in their factory) that you can ship anything within the US to. Once the package arrives in your suite, you can choose from a variety of shipping methods acquiring to your time and budget preferences. MyUS is always upfront with shipping costs, meaning there’s no hidden fees after you have created an overseas ship request! Once you sign up for MyUS, you can install the MyUS Shopping Extension on Google Chrome to directly shop your favorite US stores.

There are three multiple membership options on MyUS: free, premium and premium+mail. With the free membership, you pay international shipping for one single package. With the premium and premium+mail memberships, you save up to 80% on consolidation (packaging multiple orders into one for most cost-effective shipping), and you receive free package storage and repacking. If you’re living abroad and also need to receive post, the premium+mail option would be the best choice.

I personally use MyUS for packages, so I have the premium membership. It has already saved me so much money on international shipping, not to mention how happy it’s made me to receive all my favorite products! Based on the shipping option chosen, your USA goodies will arrive in as fast as 2-4 days. By clicking on this link, you get to experience a FREE Premium membership for 30 days, PLUS 20% off your first shipment!

2. iHerb

iHerb is an online health store based in the US that ships to over 150 countries across the globe. It was actually the first website I found out about when I went looking for my favorite U.S. that were accessible to me! iHerb has such a wide range of health products from many trusted food & supplement brands. Some of my favorites are listed at the bottom of this page!

What I love so much about iHerb is that there’s several ways to save. Every week they have new sales, and their ‘quantity discount’ applies to all of their products. Their shipping is inexpensive, and here too you can save! The more you order, the cheaper the shipping gets. You also build up loyalty credit every time you order, which is 10%. So say you ordered for $50, 10% would be $5. Then you would get $5 off on your next order at iHerb!

Aside from affordability, shopping on iHerb is a very pleasant experience. All of their products are organized by category and by brand, making it easy to find whatever you need. Almost all products also have the expiration date mentioned, so you immediately know the shelf life of whatever you’re buying!

If you want to try iHerb for yourself and save EVEN more, my code LIV2220 gets you 10% off you first order!

3. Vitacost

Vitacost.com

Vitacost is another online health store based in the U.S. They sell vitamins, supplements, and organic grocery items at discount prices along with very affordable shipping! Just like iHerb, they always have new sales, allowing you to save even more on select products. What’s unique to Vitacost is that they also offer tons of free guides, eBooks, articles, and healthy recipes. These serve as the perfect inspiration while shopping on their store as well :) If you frequently shop on Vitacost, what’s really cool is that you’ll build up a Promo Pocket. This is basically your online ‘pocket’ that is always filled with personalized coupons and discounts, allowing you to save even more on your favorite products.

The reason I use both Vitacost and iHerb is because they always have different sales and deals going on. Plus, Vitacost sometimes sells products that iHerb doesn’t, and vice versa. But as you can see from the list below, they sell all of my same favorite brands on Vitacost as on iHerb! It’s all just a matter of current availability, price, and amount of items (this sometimes makes huge differences when it comes to shipping!) that decides whether I order from one or another.

For products that I cannot get via iHerb or Vitacost, I order directly from the U.S. webshop and get it sent to my US address. There’s also so much to order off amazon! Just enter your MyUS address at checkout and you’ll get an email as soon as your order is in your suite!

I hope you enjoyed learning a bit more about how I order my favorite products as an international blogger with a home in two countries across the globe.
